Reader profile for FEEDBACK

Here are examples of reader profiles from the main competitors of FEEDBACK magazine that I have looked at in order to get an idea of what sort of thing to do for my reader profile.

Kerrang! Magazine: "Individually minded, independent of thought and musically experienced, an audience defined by attitude, passion and loyalty."

Q Magazine: "Open minded experience seekers, the Q audience don’t define themselves by the music they listen to. Music is an important passion, but their love of music will never be to the detriment of their other passions, such as film, sport and comedy."

MOJO Magazine: "Discerning and passionate music aficionados, the MOJO audience is predominately male (72%) and affluent (36% AB). These heavy consumers of music see their passion as discovery without boundaries, genre and decade being secondary to quality."

Here is the reader profile for FEEDBACK magazine...
"The reader of FEEDBACK magazine tends to be a male student, of the age 16-25, although the female reader of FEEDBACK is on the up as interest for live music is becoming more and more widespread by the minute."
"They enjoy music particularly from the rock genre and are loyal fans of well-known bands such as Foo Fighters, The Killers and Muse. However, they are also interested in up and coming bands and enjoy reading reviews on albums and gig reviews of not-so-popular bands such as Gallows, The Blackout and Young Guns."
"They tend to revolve their live's around going to gigs. They will go whenever they can scrape enough money together to get a ticket and transport to the venue, and will either live off pot noodles for a week (in true student style) or beg their parents in order to get that money. In their spare time they like to use MySpace to search for a new band to listen to and to stay in-touch with their friends."
"As well as having a massive interest in all things music related, the FEEDBACK reader enjoys other forms of entertainment such as films and comedy series. Due to not having a lot of money from blowing it on attending gigs, buying the merchandise there and purchasing FEEDBACK on a weekly basis, they will ask for the latest blockbusters and a box-set of family guy for christmas or their birthday from their parents."

Mastheads

These are my original ideas for my masthead. I am not as experienced at using InDesign as I wish I was which means they are not to the highest standard I could do. I have experimented with mainly san serif fonts as the genre of music magazines I have been looking at use this type of font, which makes the magazine a more informal look. I have tried different colour schemes, but I have not decided on a definite colour scheme yet. I would like to further my experiments with fonts for my masthead.
